Probably best know in the sportswear world for its custom-designed running kit, Scimitar also has a popular retail line of its own. This month, the company unveils its new look, as well as a refreshed company ethos that focuses on innovation and sustainability.

As well as a new logo and a revamped colour scheme, the new identity has been designed to reinforce the company’s commitment to environmental and ethical values.

In October 2018, Scimitar announced that it was to launch a 100% recycled fabric for its custom running vests, cycling jerseys and technical t-shirts. Even its packaging has been overhauled, with new poly-bags made from recycled material. Going forward, the company aims to build its available range of fully certified recycled products and ensure its environmentally friendly production methods.

Adam Church-Millward, Marketing Manager for Scimitar, explained: “In a time of environmental importance, businesses of all sizes and sectors need to step up. We see the launch of our recycled fabric and the shift in focus of the Scimitar brand as a bold pioneering move.

“We want to spearhead the sportswear revolution and lead the industry into a new era of responsibility, sustainability and environmental thinking. This is reflected perfectly with our all-new brand tagline, as we look to innovate the sector and Break Boundaries™.”
