Meet the team

Here are those clever people that make this magazine possible.

Andy Palmer

Owner

Andy is a familiar face to many within the running industry. He’s the man with the big ideas and dreams, looking to change the running industry from the inside. He had the vision of an online magazine… and here it is!

Julie Bassett

Editor

Julie works freelance in marketing, copywriting and feature writing, and is also a life-long keen runner. Run Deep is a project of passion, combining both her love for words and stories with her joy of running.

Danielle Dixon

Designer

Dani is a freelance designer running her own graphic design business (danidixondesign.co.uk) and is in charge of Run Deep’s visual look and excellent illustrations! She is an enthusiastic runner with a background in publishing, working on a huge range of international titles on all kinds of weird and wonderful subjects.

Jo Weston

Accounts Manager

Jo is the one who keeps the rest of us in check! Always a cheery face at races and the local parkrun, she is well known within her local running community for her love of running, fancy dress and gin (usually all three at once).

Helena Stroud

Social Media Manager

Helena keeps our busy Facebook page and Twitter feeds ticking over, sharing our great stories and engaging with our community. She’s also a pretty awesome ultra runner and has taken on some pretty gruelling challenges – but always finishes with a smile on her face!
